For A Good Cause

Dear Friends and Family:

Please take some time and follow the link to Dagny’s Girl Scout page.

Her troop is selling nuts, candy, and magazine subscriptions to help her troop earn money for their annual troop activities. It will also help the council fund girl programs, maintain camps, provide adult training and provide financial aid to girls.

Thank you in advance for your support.

ZooBoo 2012

We met up with our friend, Jessica, and her son, Mason, for our annual ZooBoo outing. The weather was perfect. It’s was warm and with a chance of rain, which equals to no crowd. Win, win for all.

Dagny wanted to be a Doctor this year for Halloween. (Currently, she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. )

I just love this photo of her checking the lion’s (Chester) breathing.

She’s gotten so big.

I still can’t believe I am this little girl’s mother. I am the luckiest person in the world.  She is truly my world!

Our happy little doctor

Five Times

We decided to get a season pass to Seabreeze now that Dagny is old enough to truly enjoy it. I knew she would like it, but I didn’t expect how much. She is an adrenaline junkie.  She loves, loves the roller-coasters, which she rides at least five-times a visit. After she got off one of the roller-coasters, I asked her if should would like to go on the carousal. Her responds was, “Nah, it’s too slow. ” Alright then.

Doodle Bugs Class of 2012

Friday night Dagny had her Pre-K  graduation from Doodle Bugs.  It was a bitter sweet event. Witnessing how much all the kids have grown in the past couple of years was pretty amazing. But, also made for a sad moment knowing that many of the kids wouldn’t see each other again.  Everyone was on their own paths moving on to their own elementary school. We (the parents) promised to stay in touch and I am sure some of us will, but life is going to get busy and realistically this was the end to some friendships.

It was truly a wonderful event were all the kids did a wonderful job. I am so proud of all of them, especially the long brown hair girl in the center.

We are so proud of you Little Miss D.

Love Mommy and Daddy!

The graduate, Miss Dagny!

Best friends, Dagny and Maggie.

The Next Abby Wambach

I know it’s been a while, huh?  No real excuse except that life gets in the way of the whole blogging thing.  The sad part is that there are tons of things that I could of / should of wrote about.  So, I won’t recap in one post, because honestly I couldn’t even if I wanted to.  I will start from this past week and take some time to write some other things that are worth mentioning.  Like the loss of our pretty Maxie girl that came very suddenly, the addition of our little man, Oliver, that was unexpected, and like me breaking my arm playing with my four year old.

Dagny started soccer this past weekend.  She’s been asking to do this for over a year, but she was too young up until now.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dagny so excited about anything.  She had so much fun out on the field. And I must say she was really, really good.
