Dear Dagny,
Thank you for making me a mom, your mom!
I love you so much!
Mom
I am feeling tons better and with that I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather and take Dagny for a walk through Highland Park. My Mom was kind enough to join us, which was a great help with a toddler. Dagny did pretty good up until we started going upward on the path, she pretty much wanted nothing to do with that, so of course she wanted to be carried. I didn’t even bother bringing her stroller, because she never really liked sitting in it. It’s not worth the production of trying to get her into it. What’s wrong with my child?! How could she not like sitting and being pushed around?! Anyways, besides the tail end of the walk, we really had a fun time. She enjoyed smelling the lilacs and examining all the different types of flowers.
I am looking forward to going back for the festival with Craig in tow.

I realize I haven’t really given much of an update in a while. So here it goes.
As I stated a few posts ago I was sick. I thought I was getting better, but took a turn for the worse last week. I went back to the doctor and he told me I have bronchitis and now I am taking steroids for quite longer then I would like. The good news is, the very first night I slept better then I had in four weeks. My coughing is finally getting to the level where it’s not embarrassing to go outside and be around people. Now, Craig is fighting through something.
Around the house front… I am not where I would like to be by this time, but now that I am getting my energy back I can tackle the list. I still have some painting to do and organizing of the basement, garage, and attic.
Dagny is pretty much over her cold, she is still working on a runny nose. She is enjoying going outside and playing. I am so excited that she has gotten to the age where she wants to do that. She has also started testing her limits and pushing our buttons. A couple of weeks ago was perhaps the worst of these weeks. It seemed every five minutes she would see how far she could go with us. Then last week she was totally fine. I guess that’s how this stuff goes. All and all she is a very good little girl. Even when she is testing her limits, she did listen when we asked her to stop. I am proud of her for that.
Here is our Little Miss D growing up way to fast.
She is really into running up to us so that she can give us big hugs. Gotta admit I love this phase.

Dagny, the youngest Johnson, got her first sweet little coupe.
Every time I drop and pick her up from daycare she points to the “cars” in the playground and tells which one she likes to ride. We like to think we don’t spoil her even thou it can be hard with an only child. To be fair she doesn’t have a ridiculous amount of toys, but I just couldn’t resist getting this for her. She has been doing so good with the transition of the move, she deserved a little treat.
Here is Dagny’s reaction.
There was also a lot of this going on. She loved pushing it with Craig.
Since our garage is currently storing other things besides the cars, we park the cars outside for now.

Dagny seems to be making up for last years lack of egg hunting. Today she got to hunt for some eggs at daycare. The weather was amazing. What difference in experiences for her. Saturday she was all bundled up in her winter jacket and today she was in shorts.
Here she is gathering her bounty.
Check out her chin, she already got into some of her “eggs”.
My new favorite photo of the two of us.
After dinner we went on the deck and played with some bubbles.
